《人工智能与MIMO通信》是信息与通信工程专业一门双语授课的选修研讨课程,给学生全面、系统地介绍人工智能方法在新一代MIMO无线通信系统中的应用。课程具体内容包括:人工智能中的机器学习与深度学习方法概述,MIMO无线通信关键技术介绍,重点针对MIMO通信中的高维度信道信息共享、MIMO发射预编码设计、MIMO迭代接收检测三个领域中深度学习方法的应用进行讲解,并开展研讨。智能MIMO通信是当前无线通信网络发展的必然趋势和重要方向,此课程对学生了解无线通信技术前沿,培养学生对交叉学科知识的掌握和运用能力起到重要作用。课程采用讲授为主,研讨为辅的教学方式,使学生通过本课程学习能够掌握MIMO通信领域最新动态,了解智能MIMO通信的理论基础和应用方法。

四、主讲教师简介:

许威,教授博士生导师,国家优秀青年科学基金获得者、江苏省杰出青年基金获得者、跳槽彩金优惠活动的网站青年首席教授

目前主要从事无线移动通信理论与应用研究主要研究方向包括智能通信、协作通信、信息通信理论等。主持科技部重点研发计划“宽带通信与新型网络”项目、国家自然科学基金专项项目和面上项目等国家级科研项目长期与华为、小米科技索尼等国内外著名通信企业合作研究。在国际知名IEEE通信/信号处理学会期刊上发表论文100余篇,被引用5000次,多篇论文入选ESI高被引论文,一项成果入选IEEE学会期刊年度热点论文,曾获旗舰国际会议IEEE Globecom最佳论文奖等获国际发明专利授权5项,国家发明专利授权23;成果获得2014年江苏省科学技术奖一等奖,2019年中国电子学会科技奖(自然科学)二等奖

  2012年入选江苏省“创新团队”资助计划,2016年入选江苏省“六大人才高峰”高层次人才资助计划2018被授予中国通信学会青年科技奖2019年获英国皇家工程院杰出访问学者。指导本科毕业设计两次获得江苏省优秀本科毕业设计一等奖,指导硕士研究生获2018年江苏省优秀硕士学位论文奖。2017年至2020年曾担任加拿大维多利亚大学客座教授。目前担任中国通信学会青年工作委员会委员,担任国际通信学会汇刊IEEE Transactions on Communications编委、国际通信学会快报《IEEE Communications Letters高级编委

  1. Course Introduction (including teaching goals and requirements) within 300 words:

"Artificial Intelligence and MIMO Communication" is a bilingual elective seminar course for information and communication engineering majors. It gives students a comprehensive and systematic introduction to the application of artificial intelligence methods in the new generation of MIMO wireless communication systems. The specific content of the course includes: an overview of machine learning and deep learning methods in artificial intelligence, an introduction to key technologies of MIMO wireless communication, focusing on the three areas of high-dimensional channel information sharing in MIMO communication, MIMO transmission precoding design, and MIMO iterative reception and detection Explain the application of deep learning methods and conduct seminars. Intelligent MIMO communication is the inevitable trend and important direction of the current wireless communication network development. This course plays an important role in understanding the frontiers of wireless communication technology and cultivating students' ability to master and apply interdisciplinary knowledge. The course adopts the teaching method of lecture-based and seminar-assisted, so that students can grasp the latest developments in the field of MIMO communication and understand the theoretical basis and application methods of intelligent MIMO communication through this course.

  1. Brief Introduction of Chief lecturer:

 Xu Wei, Professor, Doctoral supervisor, Recipient of the National Science Fund for Outstanding Youth, Recipient of the Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund, and Chief Young Professor of Southeast University.

 He is mainly engaged in the research of wireless mobile communication theory and application. The main research directions include intelligent communication, cooperative communication, information communication theory, etc. He presides over national-level scientific research projects such as the key R&D program of the Ministry of Science and Technology "Broadband Communications and New Networks", special projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and general projects. Published more than 100 papers in the internationally renowned IEEE Communications/Signal Processing Society journals, which have been cited more than 5000 times. Many papers were selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers, and one achievement was selected as the annual hot paper of IEEE Society Journals, and won the flagship international conference. IEEE Globecom Best Paper Award, etc.; received 5 international invention patent authorizations and 23 national invention patent authorizations; the results won the first prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Award in 2014, and the second prize of Science and Technology Award (Natural Science) of the Chinese Institute of Electronics in 2019.

 In 2012, he was selected as the “Innovation Team” funding program of Jiangsu Province. In 2016, he was selected as the “Six Talent Peaks” high-level talent funding program of Jiangsu Province. In 2018, he was awarded the Young Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Institute of Communications. In 2019, he was awarded the Royal Academy of Engineering Outstanding Visiting Scholar Award. . Guided the undergraduate graduation design twice and won the first prize of Jiangsu Excellent Undergraduate Graduation Design twice, and supervised the master graduate students to win the 2018 Jiangsu Excellent Master Thesis Award. From 2017 to 2020, he served as a visiting professor at the University of Victoria in Canada. He is currently a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Institute of Communications, an editorial board member of the IEEE Transactions on Communications of the International Institute of Communications, and a senior editorial board member of the IEEE Communications Letters of the International Institute of Communications.
